ARCHIVE: OYUNA x Peter Marigold LDF
With a ten year anniversary on the horizon, OYUNA wanted to create something truly special to honour the milestone, and what better way to celebrate than with an installation at London's prestigious Design Festival.
Collaborating with lauded London-based furniture designer Peter Marigold, the pair created something truly symbolic - a reinterpretation of the traditional Mondolian 'Ger' tent-house. Built from blackened raw steel and dark cast wooden surfaces, the delicate installation offered the perfect setting for OYUNA's distinctive cashmere shawls, throws and clothing. Redefining the concept of indoor and outdoor spaces, the skeletal steel design gave contrasting weight and presence to light weight and airy fabrics. The installation later moved to Andreas Murkudis' prestigious concept store in Berlin.
